Rzeszów the capital of the Podkarpackie Region
Rzeszów is called the capital of innovation with many national and international companies representing a wide range of industries. Rzezów city is located in southeastern Poland and is the capital of the Podkarpackie Region with a number of inhabitants – 198 609 people. The Podkarpackie Region is characterized by a high concentration of companies from the aviation industry, research and development centers, and developed educational and training facilities. Only 12 km from the city center there is the airport Rzeszów-Jasionka https://www.rzeszowairport.pl/en with many international connections. In its vicinity is located the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS focused on the industry of innovative technologies in the following sectors: aviation, electromechanical, IT, chemical, biotechnology, plastics. Another industry zone is the Rzeszów-Dworzysko Special Economic Zone which operates near the city. Rzeszów is a center of Aviation Valley Association which includes 178 entities.
The Rzeszów City is called the city of young people with the largest percentage of students in Europe in relations to the number of inhabitants.

On 9 routes, with a total length of 1,202 km, you can see churches, Orthodox churches, historic manors, hunting palaces, burghers' houses and spa villas. As many as 6 sites have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
- The Bieszczady Mountains - Bieszczady National Park provide attractions at any time of the year (hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing routes). This is the place where the largest Polish predators live - bears, wolves, lynxes and bisons. In the Bieszczady Mountains there is also the Solińskie Lake - the most popular artificial water reservoir in Podkarpacie, a perfect place for windsurfing, water skiing, kayaking, diving and sailing. The sailing season on Solina usually begins in May and lasts until later in autumn. There is also the highest dam in Poland
- Railway shelter from the Second World War in Strzyżów - This is the only underground railway shelter in Poland and the second of the facilities to protect German trains in the present-day Podkarpackie Province. The railway bunker is hidden inside the mountain, it is 438 m long and the ceiling is almost 6.5 m high
- The narrow gauge railway in podkarpackie is currently the longest operating narrow gauge railway in Poland. The railway route knows along the budget of the river through the picturesque hills and forest complexes.
